Voluma® XC in Macon, GA
One of the first signs of aging that patients experience is a loss of volume in the apple of their cheeks. Voluma® XC is an injectable filler that’s designed to correct this issue and is available at the Georgia Center for Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. This state-of-the-art facility is led by Dr. Joshua R. Groves, board-certified by the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Groves has helped men and women in Macon, Warner Robins, Houston County, Bibb County and the surrounding area look younger through Voluma® XC injections.
What is Voluma® XC?
Part of the Juvederm® family of fillers, Voluma®XC is FDA-approved to correct volume loss due to aging. The gel contains hyaluronic acid to gently plump and contour the cheeks and give them a more youthful, uplifted appearance. The results may last up to two years.
Benefits of Voluma® XC
Many dermal fillers require periodic touch-up treatments in order to maintain results. That’s not the case with Voluma® XC, as it provides results for up to two years after treatment. In addition, it is also safe, can be administered in only one office visit, and requires no downtime after leaving our office.
Requirements for Voluma® XC
To undergo a Voluma® XC injection, you should not have allergies to lidocaine or any of the proteins in the product. You should also not have had any other dermal fillers within the last four months. Avoid this injectable if you are currently pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant.
Is Voluma® XC Right for Me?
If you want results that are subtle yet dramatic at the same time, Voluma® XC could be right for you, especially if you wish to avoid surgery or repeated treatments.
How Involved is a Voluma® XC Procedure?
A Voluma® XC procedure is so simple that it can be completed in your lunch hour. Most patients are in our office 30 minutes or less, as this is all the time that’s needed to prepare your paperwork, cleanse your skin, and administer the injection.
How Long is the Recovery After Voluma® XC?
Once Dr. Groves has finished injecting Voluma®XC, you are free to leave our office and continue with your normal activities. If you do notice swelling or bruising near the injection site, use an ice pack or take over-the-counter medication to eliminate your discomfort.
How Much Does Voluma® XC Cost?
Different amounts of Voluma®XC are required for each patient, and your cost is based on the dosage you need. During your consultation, we will discuss the cost, and go over our payment options to find one that best suits your needs.
Some procedures may be covered by medical insurance. Our staff is experienced in matters pertaining to insurance, and will work with your carrier to get you maximum coverage.
